Idris French is an Atlanta-based rap artist, performer ,and creative curator known for blending introspective lyricism with immersive live experiences. Since beginning his performance career in 2016, Idris French has built a reputation through consistency, intentional storytelling, and the ability to command diverse audiences across intimate venues and festival stages.
With nearly a decade of performance experience and a consistent release history, Idris French stands as a dynamic and self-sufficient artist—balancing live performance, creative direction, and independent artistry while continuing to grow his impact within hip-hop and beyond.
PROJECTS
On the recording side, Idris French has built a growing catalog of projects that reflect his artistic evolution. Beginning with his debut project Told You Forever (2020), he quickly followed with the EP What I See MMXX in partnership with 3rdLevelEMG and Canis Major Digital. He continued to develop his sound with Don’t Trip(2021), later expanding his artistry with Left Demo Files/Tapes/Sessions(2023) and Truth Over Drums(2024). Along side these releases, Idris French has delivered a steady stream of singles that capture themes of growth, identity, and self-reflection.

EXPERIENCE
Starting in Orlando, Florida with early performances at Bombshell’s Tavern and The Haven Lounge, Idris French expanded into Atlanta’s music scene, where he has performed at venues such as Center Stage Vinyl, The Music Room, Smith’s Olde Bar, Windmill Arts Theater, and The Supermarket ATL. His live resume includes appearances at major cultural events like the Juneteenth Atlanta Parade & Music Festival and the Taste of Soul Music Festival, along with multiple showcases through So far Sounds Atlanta. Idris French has shared stages with and opened for notable artists including Kyla Chika, Dondria, and Willow the Cat, solidifying his presence within the independent music circuit.
The LABEL
Beyond performing, he is the founder of XII Sun LLC, the independent imprint under which he releases music and produces live experiences. His entrepreneurial approach is highlighted through self-curated events, including the sold-out What I See MMXX(2020)and his sold-out Living in My Art(2025) headlining concert at Resonant Studios ATL. The French Lavender Experience series continues to showcase his ability to merge music, storytelling, and atmosphere into intentional creative spaces.
